Leap is a one-year discipleship training programme focussed on shaping men and women of God for life and ministry.
For 25 years, we've been equipping and readying hundreds of young men and women to leap into the call that Christ has for them.
As a ministry of Joshua Generation Church South Africa, we firmly believe in the role of the local church and the value of being part of God's family.
We don't just teach ministry; we live it. Students get to experience real-world ministry, hands on, expressed through the 60 congregations of JoshGen — all the while following the day-to-day pattern of Jesus and His disciples. Using His blueprint, students will be shown the way, work together with us, and then sent out to impact the world.
From 2027, Leap has a new home: a brand-new, purpose-built campus in Pinehurst, Durbanville — located just 30 minutes from Cape Town CBD. As a cutting-edge learning facility, there's no better place to give a year to growing in God and discovering your purpose — surrounded by community, deep in the Word, and stretched in real ministry.
Get embedded directly into the heart of JoshGen, a cutting-edge church with over 60 congregations across South Africa. You aren't just visiting for a year, you're officially part of the family.
Don't just study ministry—do it. Weekly outreaches, school visits, and hands-on serving turn head-knowledge into real-world kingdom impact.
Live, eat, pray, and grow with a tight-knit crew for a full year. The friendships and deep accountability you build here will easily outlast the program itself. Just ask our alumni!
Seasoned leaders walk right alongside you in genuine relationship, actively speaking into your character, your calling, and your next step. They care about you and your destiny in Christ, for real.

Deep biblical roots. Get high-calibre theological training from a diverse group of five-fold gifts across JoshGen — men and women skilled from years of pastoring, preaching, prophesying and studying the library of Scripture.
Hit the streets. Take your faith straight from the classroom into the real world through active, hands-on ministry, community outreaches, and real-time serving.
Built for connection. Our purpose-built campus accommodates 64 students, from all walks of life — both South Africans and international students. For one year, you'll braai, worship, hang out and experience the presence of God — together.
Become more like Jesus. Walk through the year with dedicated, one-on-one mentorship and accountability from our leaders, helping you mature and grow in your relationship with Jesus. "As iron sharpens iron"…
Real, messy relationships. Tough, life-giving conversations. Anointed, Holy Spirit encounters. Together. This is what a year at Leap looks like.
Everything for the year — teaching, outreaches, camps, conference, materials and accommodation options — is laid out in one document.
